Computer Talk

Patidev and I are both multilingual. We know English, Hindi, Tamil, and Sanskrit, and are used to mixing up words from different languages in the same sentence. As computer scientists, we also mix up computer lingo into our conversation. For example, we don't forget things -- instead we have a stack overflow -- implying that we forgot, but only because there was too much for us to remember.

Your computer talk can date you seriously. There are those of us, who grew up with black and white xterms (oh! cool! you can make the background black and the font white), and those who grew up with phone apps, and double click.

My age:

Roz subha hum karte hain
pyar se unhe good morning...
Woh aise ghoor ke dekte hain
jaise 0 errors aur 5 warning...

Brat's age:

Laakhon honge nigaah mein
kabhi mujhe bhi pick karo...
Mere pyaar ke icon pe
kabhi to double-click karo...

I have a single liner as a reply -
Maine apne blog pe

Whether it is core competence or incompetence, is another question-

I recently found out: Aaaj kal core dump bhi double click friendly hai! See http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/visualvm/coredumps.html
